    3. New Richmond is a small town on the Ohio River in Clermont Co, the next county east of Hamilton co. I no nothing of the cemeteries near there. Suggest you go to the Clermont Co. board, where you'll likely find local assistance.

    3. I would suggest contacting Dayton, OH library to see if they can find an obituary for this Helen Spettel. Since you have her death date, they should be able to search the newspapers. From what I've read online, you should be able to make the request via email or phone. (I know that for Cincinnati/Hamilton Co., the library can and will email you the obit.) If you can obtain this Helen's obit, you might be able to determine one way or the other if she was your Ralph's wife. And with any luck, if she was, perhaps or obit will mention when hubbie died, or perhaps list survivors. Just a suggestion. ----- Original Message ----- From: "anchoredup" <anchoredup@yahoo.com> To: <ohhamilt@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, July 10, 2010 10:35 PM Subject: Re: [OHHAMILT] Ralph Spettel of Cincinnati, Ohio > Yes, Ralph's brother Herbert's middle initial is C and he did live in > Dayton. 3. I guess having one record at the North German Lutheran Church and one at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church greatly reduces the chance that the two women were sisters. I spent quite awhile combing through the online probate and will/estate records this afternoon. Even though I felt like a kid with a new toy, I still couldn't come up with much to further my Menke/Koetting family line. I did find a little bit on a John G. In that time frame, the only Koetting brides were the above and the Menke bride. But -- there is also a KETTING, A.M.Gesina who married Herman Hein. SOMMER 19 Nov 1848 at Holy Trinity. 2. Per prior discussion about an August or Gus DOLL, Go to the FamilySearch Beta records site. There is a death record for Rosa DURBEC in 1953 - gives her parents as August DOLL and Marie BIERSDOFFER - she was buried in Baltimore Pike Cemetery. Also is a death cert. for Aug. DOLL born 1872, parents Frank Doll and Minnie TEITS, buried in Raschig's Cemetery. He was married, but his wife's name is not mentioned on the dc. Ann

    2. The catalog for the LDS Family History Library does list a film with North German Lutheran church records. The microfilm number is 1763571, and it contains Baptisms 1863-1882, Marriages 1863-1882, Deaths 1863-1881, Banns 1838-1840, supporting documents for marriages 1838-1854 and 1902-1928. You might find something by looking at the film if you can get it to a nearby LDS family history center. 3. Thanks, Ann. I did a websearch for "Hamilton county Ohio Probate records" and came up with the site that I think you are referring to. I did find an early Koetting in the "K" list. http://www.probatect.org/pdftemp/radC67F2.pdf 23 Koetting, John G Mar 4, 1852 1 8 Also, this might be a big clue that leads somewhere - Restored Hamilton Co., OH Marriages 1808-1849 Koetting, Maria Bon, Joseph H. 7 Dec 1848 Code: EE http://www.probatect.org/pdftemp/rad47522.pdf 676 Bonn, Joseph Jan 19, 1853 1 164 I have searched for him on the 1850 before, but have not been able to locate them in Hamilton Co. Many Thanks, Kathy www.Kiva.org - loans that change lives.
