The name was spelled Berlage in the photo album. I was very careful to copy correctly. The message from Roger B. this same date does have the exact name of Donald Berlage. Let me hold off on furnishing the name to you right now. I have no interest in the photo album, but I would like to know the correct family would possibly get it. Hi Carole, It sounds like Roger found current information on the family, so I would go with that. You can probably contact them based on the information he provided. My Burhlages spelled their name that way in the 1800's and it could easily be spelled Berlage now. No need to send me any information since you now have a strong lead. Dear Listers, First of all, A BIG THANK YOU for all your responses. I hope that I didn't miss thanking each one personally. It was very sad to find out today that their oldest child Marilyn EDWARDS, must have married a man by the name of Dorian SHELTON & died at the age of 35 in 1979 & the rest of the family here in New Jersey knew nothing about it. How sad they didn't have the support of family. This was on the Hamilton Co. website. My next task is to find out perhaps what Church of the Nazarene might be near where they lived by the Palmolive Soap Factory/St. Bernard Soap Factory near Spring Grove Street ? Hi all, I am searching for information on the Dutch Broekhoven (Brockhoven, Brochhoven etc) family which lived in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co, Ohio, from abt 1863 on. The father, John (Andreas/Andrew) Broekhoven, born 1808, and mother, Anna Maria, born 1809, both died somewhere after 1880 I think in Cincinnati. The children were: Peter Jacob, born 1839 Christiaan Jozef, born 1841 Pieter Franciscus, born 1843 John Andrew, born 1852 All were born in the Netherlands. This family was active in music somehow.
