Hello. Can anyone tell me if any of the children of Robert McGeorge (of Owsley Co., KY) appear in the 1930 Hamilton Co census? Chester McGeorge (b. 1904) and wife Myrtle Rowland. Chester died in 1965 in Kenwood OH. William McGeorge. (b. about 1905) Ophelia Belle McGeorge (b. 1908) Isaac McGeorge (b. 1912) If they are not in Hamilton Co., are there any McGeorge in surrounding counties? Thank you, Mary in CA

Margaret, Both Price Thompsons are in the Ohio 1880 census also. The older one and wife Elisabeth still in Sycamore Township. The younger one, with wife Rebecca and three children, Victor, Cara, and Jessie are living in Lockland, Hamilton Co., Ohio.. Price's brother, Ezekiel, is also living with them, in addition to a servant and some farm hands. I have been working on the line of Michael E. DEMPSEY and Margaret TULLY Dempsey in Chicago, with no success...until someone found them for me in the Hamilton Co 1900 census. Does anyone on this list have access to birth and/or marriage data for Cincinnati in that time period? The census shows their daughter, Margaret (or Rita) born Aug 1891 in OH, and I am wondering if that would be in Cincinnati or elsewhere. Also, news to me from the census, Michael's niece Adeline DAVIDSON, b 1893 in OH, was living with them. It appears Adeline may have been orphaned. In later info I have, she is called "daughter" of Michael and Margaret, not niece. Does anyone have access to death/obit info that would show her parents' names? Also, if anyone is working on this line, I do have more recent info to share on this family and related families in Chicago, IL area. Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions, or referral to online resources for Ohio/Hamilton (a new area for me to research). Jacqi

The Gallia County OGS Chapter is sponsoring a genealogical event "Gene Fest 2005". This will be held on Saturday, June 4, at the Gallia County Historical/Genealogical Society building at 412 Second Avenue in Gallipolis, Ohio , from 10am to 4pm. Dear Listers, I am looking for more information on the Andreas/Andrew HINDERBERGER/HINTERBERGER Family of Cincinnati. They resided on Vine Street at one time and later on Bremen Street.
