    2. Hi Lisa, Are you referring to records for your grandfather who belonged to the Masonic Lodge? Depending on when your grandfather was working I don't know if there was any kind of Union that stonemasons belonged to. You didn't mention any time period or where he lived. If you're referring to the Masonic Lodge, there are many local lodges in each county so if he lived in Ohio, you might start by contacting The Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons in Ohio. Here is their web site: _http://www.freemason.com/_ (http://www.freemason.com/) Good Luck! Marilyn ------------------original message------------------- In a message dated 7/20/2005 10:14:23 P.M. 2. Hello, all; I am not familiar with a cemetery having the name, but there was a school in downtown Cincinnati at one time - late 50's and 60's, perhaps. It was called the Raschig School and I think that's the correct spelling. Ann Bergelt Florida

    3. I recall sometime back, a year or more, time flies, but the Hamilton Co. Library posted that they would no longer be updating the KY index & at that same time or perhaps before, Kenton Co. took over with the index on their website. When Hamilton Co. switched recently from Cinch to the new search engine they no longer include the KY Newsdex. 1. Re: [OH-HAMILT] Mt. Carmel Baptist Cemetery
    2. Linda Boorom
    3. Thanks to everyone who tried to help me with this. Yolanda did find my answer. This transcription appears to be part of Bethel Baptist Church & Green Twp. Cemetery (now a parking lot) both of which were/are on Harrison Ave. in Cheviot. When the transcription was put online back in 2000 (before my time) I can't figure out where the Mt. Carmel came from. As I'm setting up the new Cemetery page for the website I'm eliminating this as it duplicates what is now listed as Cheviot Cemetery & Harrison Ave. Cemetery. Both of which are a combination of the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery & Green Twp. Cemetery. The new pages I put up (hopefully this weekend) will reflect this information. ----- Original Message ----- From: <NatrLvrnMT@aol.com> To: <OHHAMILT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, July 22, 2005 8:55 AM Subject: Re: [OH-HAMILT] Mt. 3. Hi guys, I hate to ask, but I REALLY need some help! I'm trying to totally revise the main cemetery page we have online for Hamilton Co. OHGenWeb/ALHN. I've started a list of all of the cemeteries listed in the Ham. Co. Gen. Soc. 17 cemetery books, link those up to transcriptions (most partial) we already have online, & add addresses and/or other links...... Not sure where this is heading or how much longer it will take, but I've run into a few stumbling blocks, mostly trying to sort out cemetery names, some we have are not in Hamilton Co., but Clermont & perhaps Butler & Warren as well. With some I have spent hours trying to figure out exactly where it is & what else it may be called. For example, we now have listed Milford Cemetery http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohhamilt/cemmilford.htm which after several hours researching & then this afternoon a phone call to Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, Clermont Co. I determined these few transcriptions were from Greenlawn in Milford...... At present I'm looking at transcriptions from a cemetery submitted in 2000 titled Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery which you can find here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohhamilt/mtcarmcem.html This doesn't seem to be Mt. Carmel in Anderson Twp. or Mt. Carmel in Sycamore Twp. I've been searching the census, looks like some definite Green Twp. connections, at least per the 1850 census. But, I can't find a Mt. Carmel Baptist Cemetery or church in the vicinity looking at a number of resources. Does anyone recognize the names in this cemetery which might help me to place it & find another name that it may have gone by? Linda Boorom co-coordinator Hamilton Co. OHGenWeb/ALHN

I didn't find an obit, but I found a book that listed the Amburgey family. (1) MARY ANNABELLE BAKER (d/o Henry Baker and Martha Taylor) b. 1898 in Letcher Co., KY; d. 1915; m. (2) GERTRUDE QUILLEN (d/o R. Quillen and Carrie Venters). All the following children were born in Letcher Co., KY. Children of Robert and Mary: 1. CARL EDWARD AMBURGEY b. 21 Oct 1912; d. 28 Oct 1974; m (1) 26 Aug 1933 to Rosie Tolliver; m. (2) 14 Mar 1936 to Stella Gertrude Stewart. 2. CULLEN WYLEY AMBURGEY b. 24 Dec 1913; m. 1 Sep 1936 to Nora "Carrie" Jones. I have the children from his second marriage too if you need it. Hope this helps. Lisa (S.E. KY)
