I believe Taylor's Creek runs along Taylor Road in Green Township (right along Miami Township liine). You can reach it by going west on Bridgetown Road. Taylor Road goes down the hill from the Bridgetown/Ebenezer Road intersection. It begins there and ends at Wesselman Road. Hello, Is anyone familiar with a newspaper or publication here in Cincinnati around 1905 called the "Weekly News"? Tim Allgeyer
Mt Washington is on Beechmont (125) at Beechcrest next to the Postoffice. If I remeber right you need to go around the block behind the postoffice to Sutton St to get in. After I went there a few years ago I heard that the TP White funeral home on Beechmont is the Sexton for the cemetery. If you go there I may need a fovor, if you will. Maple Grove Cemetery is near Cleves off Rt. 50. You can get there by going west on I-275 until you get to Miamitown (SR 128). Go South on 128 until you get to Route 50. There is a Krogers on the corner, you will see a railroad track across Route 50, and bridges crossing the Great Miami River on the left. CROSS OVER Route 50 and the train tracks. The road is now called Valley Junction Road. Go about a half mile and the cemetery entrance is on the right. Hello Folks, Please don't send Test messages to the mailing list as they just end up in the list archives and take up space. If you think you're not getting mail, first go to the list archives: _http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/OHHAMILT/_ (http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/OHHAMILT/) Click on the month of August and scroll down the page and see if anything has been posted that you've missed. The list has been slow and people are probably getting in vacations or end of summer activities before school starts and Labor Day arrives. You can also check Password Central to see if you're still subscribed to the list. Go here: _http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/_ (http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/) Type in your email address and click the little box that says: "To Which Lists Am I Subscribed?" and you'll immediately get an email back telling if you're still subscribed to the list. Also check the helpdesk at rootsweb to see if there is a notice in the yellow box of any mail delivery problems. Go here: _http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/_ (http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/) If you find that you're missing some messages but you're still subscribed, contact me at my admin. address; _OHHAMILT-admin@rootsweb.com_ (mailto:OHHAMILT-admin@rootsweb.com) and I'll check if any mail has bounced that was addressed to you. Lisa, Evidently the Lillian WYMER that I'm finding isn't the correct person then. I'm not finding anything in Hamilton Co. Will look further and see if something comes up. Thank you so much for this info, Bob. This is a big help to all of us as you have probably saved us a trip for nothing. I will try to be patient and wait for all the filmed records when they become available at the end of the year. Listers like you are really appreciated. Barbara in Indiana bob <bgband@cinci.rr.com> wrote: An FYI to fellow list members......... I was down at the courthouse today for marriage records. Thought I'd save anyone planning such a trip some time. As mentioned before, they are in the process of filming all their records to make available online. They have all the administrative and wills books filmed and 3/4 of the marriage records (bound volumes). Those already filmed are boxed and sealed, and are not available for viewing. Any marriage record after mid 1930's is either on film or fiche, and you can still get copies of those. The plan is to have the filming completed and online by the end of the year. I was told the hard copies would not be destroyed but they still aren't sure where they will end up. Possible locations are either the Blegen Library at UC, the Cincinnati Historical Society, or the Ohio Historical Society.
