Thank you. I will check on this. This is one I found last night. Haven't been all the way through it but has a bunch of Search Engines you don't usually find in one place. http://www.genealand.com/ Pat Morano ----- Original Message ----- From: <Kaesemein@aol.com> To: <OHHAMILT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2005 11:55 AM Subject: Re: Great FREE look up site, all states > > Reposting this email which bounced off the list. Hello. What is the best way to publish your family history in a hard back book form? I didn't know if there were a really good software program that would do it, or if it would be best just to take it some where and have it done. Thanks, Lisa

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a copy of a citizenship record for the year 1855 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Thanks in advance. Joyce Cummings
I know this has probably been asked before so sorry for the repeat. I have looked at a website but they can sometimes have incomplete or out of date info. I will be in Columbus at the end of the month with one day to do genealogical research. I prefer not to pay more than a few dollars per copy for any documents. I am especially interested in birth certificates of several ancestors born in Cincinnati, perhaps a few born in Canton. Will staff let me look up these certificates (I have dates) or will they look them up and show them to me so that I can take notes? The website I looked at seemed to indicate that marriage and death certificates from Hamilton Co. were not on file in Columbus. Has someone researched there lately?? Can you tell me what kind of info I can find in Columbus, where (address, any info such as parking, any fees), and any tips as to how to go about this research? I have done genealogical research at libraries including the LDS one in Salt Lake City, Cincinnati Public Library as well as at state archives in Frankfort, KY. Everyone has different systems. If there's time I'd be willing to try to look up a few things for those on the list. I can't promise though. I do have a lot of Cincinnati ancestors. Thanks for any help! Do you have access to Cincinnati City Directories earlier than 1941? I am searching for a Roland family(Brank and probably Josephine or Josie Roland(children: Collis, Dewey, Gerald and Virgie, etc); I had some information sent to me, but my computer crashed after that, and all lost. :( I found the children in the 1910 census, but nothing more, This family probably moved to Cinn., Ohio, after 1900. Also researching a Tipps family(Bascum & wife.) Thanks, Bobbie/North Carolina ... Just saw the postings re the above, thought I'd take a look. I do have Ancestry.com. Before I looked up the 1900 census, though, I decided to check out the 1910 listing. There is information listed on it that's important: It reads that Albert & Susan had been married 12 years, giving you a tentative marriage date of 1898. Also it says they have 0/0 kids, meaning never having any to this point. Beyond this, it says that they came to the US in 1903. Given that, they should not appear on the 1900 census anyway. Their ethnicity is given as Hun - German (Hungarian/German). I looked at the 1900 census & there are some Albert Mullers listed in different counties but I did not see your set. I have access to some immigration records; I'll look at them now & see if I can find Albert Muller listed as having immigrated. My records are not all-inclusive so I may not be able to find them, but I'll try. Pavla Chandler Texas

In a letter to my Grandmother, it indicated that she worked at Kemper Thomas in 1946. Does anyone know what this company made and where it was located in Cincinnati? Thanks for any help. Vera
Vera, If you send me your address off-line, I'll send you a copy of a page on the history of Osborne-Kemper-Thomas which moved to Norwood from downtown Cincinnati in 1902. Many of the stones that were there when I was a kid are gone, but there were still two Dollenmeyers there. Per the Citizenship Index, Geo Sattler arrived at the Port of Baltimore in 1846. I've been unsuccessful at finding the boat he came on. And per a marriage index, I have George Sattler marrying Johanna Langenheim in 1851, at the North German Lutheran Church. Now I've just learned that the 1850 Census lists George Sattler and wife Anna. Are there any directories in the time frame 1846-1850, that would list Johanna/Anna Langenheim/Sattler? Thanks, Sarah
