Can anyone on this list tell the name of the catholic church one would have attended living in Norwood 1900-1910 time period. Thanks for any help. Jane
Jane- There were three Catholic Churches in Norwood at this time: St.Peter & Paul St. Elizabeth St. Matthew In 1994 the three churches were combined into Holy Trinity, using the facilties at the former St. Peter & Paul church and school. Records of the closed churches were moved to Holy Trinity at Montgomery Road and Drex Avenue (5400 block of Montgomery Road). The church phone number is (513)366-4400. Is anyone going to this library anytime soon? If so, would you be willing to do a lookup for me? I am looking for the early 1840's marriage of Anton/Anthony Schmieder/Schmidter/Schmitter and Mary Ann Hummel. Their first known child was born in 1842. Sandi; I'm not clear on this info.? Are you saying the names are all the same cemetery, or some are combined, or "Lick Run" is the same as "Judah Touro"???? I'm asking specifically because I did research for a relative who has kin buried in Judah Touro.
