Enoch JONES Sr. was born in Wales. Jane BOGGS was born. Enoch JONES Sr. and Jane BOGGS had the following children: +2 i. Enoch JONES Jr. (born about 1764). +3 ii. Malachi John JONES (born between 1750 and 1765). Second Generation 2. Enoch JONES Jr. (Enoch-1) was born about 1764 in Wales.1 He died on 10 May 1844 in maybe Peoria IL or Guernsey Co, OH. Enoch JONES Jr. and Nancy ADDY were married about 1790. We find Jehu Jones listed on same page as Enoch Jones, on p. 474 of 1830 census, Knox township, Guernsey Co., Ohio. Jehu, head: Males:20-30: 1(jehu); 5-10:1 (maybe John); less than 5 yr old:2 (maybe Jehu jr and Isaac?) for females: age 30-40: 1 (likely anna); 5-10: 1 (likely Rebecca) then further down: Enoch, head: male: 60-70:1 (Enoch); 20-30: 1 (maybe James); age 5-10: 2 (maybe Johna and Wm) for females: age 50-60: 1 (Nancy Addy): 20-30: 2 (likely Eliza and charlotte). Nancy ADDY (daughter of William ADDY , I. and Elinor (Ellen) CLARK) was born in 1773 in Mill Creek Hundred, New Castle Co, Delaware. She died bet. 1835-10 May 1844 in Peoria, IL or Guernsey Co, OH. Enoch JONES Jr. and Nancy ADDY had the following children: +4 i. Jesse JONES (born about 1796). +5 ii. Jehu JONES (born on 1 Jan 1797).{I am descendant of this man, even have tintype copy} Jehu married Anna Maple, dau of Wm Maple and Mary "Polly" Fuller. +6 iii. Mary (Polly) JONES (born on 27 Jul 1803). +7 iv. James JONES (born about 1808). +8 v. Eliza JONES (born on 27 Aug 1809). +9 vi. Charlotte JONES (born in 1811). +10 vii. John JONES (born about 1814). 11 viii. William JONES was born after 1814. {one of the Maples thought this.} {placement of a William Jones is in controversy: the date of birth is also. the bk by ruth stafford maple says it was birthyr of 1798 , and that he was son of Enoch jr and Nancy Addy, BUT another jones researcher thought that this WM jones born 1798 was son of Enoch's brother Malachi John Jones and wife martha Addy .} so, he is 'in despute.' Does anyone have proof of a third child to the Enoch SR and jane boggs family??someone thought there was a dau. named Mary.. sources??? 3. Malachi John JONES2 (Enoch-1) was born between 1750 and 1765 in Wales. Malachi John JONES and Martha ADDY , I. were married on 25 Aug 1789 in New Castle Co., DE.
