I am researching the family of Mary Ann Biven(s) Bevin(s) b. abt 1820 in OH. She married Samuel Holmes in Monroe Co., OH on 28 Jan 1844. Mary died in 1892 in Monroe Co., OH. Samuel was killed during the Civil War. He was born in 1816 in Guernsey Co., OH. I am trying to locate Mary's parents. The 1880 census (she is in Noble Co., OH) indicates both her parents were born in Delaware. The few clues that I have is some Biven(s) families in Monroe Co. on the 1850 census. There is a Naoma Biven(s) born 1779 in Delaware. Looks like she is a widow. Looks like she is living with a son Tinley or Tenley b. about 1821. There is also a Jesse L. Biven(s) nearby born 1804 which states he was born in PA. I'm betting Naoma is Mary's mother, but haven't been able to any further than that. I certainly could use some help. Karen
