It's exciting to make a connection with one of my relatives. As second cousins once removed, could you please provide me with more detailed information regarding your own family? Logically, I assume that you are a decendent of one of William's brothers. All of the information I have on the Cowdens comes from one source; a family geneology which was compiled by my father's cousin twenty years ago. While it does provide some detailed accounts of William's sons, it is very scant in terms of William and his brothers and sisters. I am very interested in learning much more about each of the siblings, but I am equally trying to develop a contact list of any of the relatives who are still living. My father, Robert Wilson Cowden, the first child of Newell Cowden and Bessie Belle Roach Cowden, past away six years ago. All of his brothers and his sister are dead as well. While I have scanned the 2000 directory of Cowdens living in Ohio, I am at a loss as to who might be family as well
