    1. Re: [OHGUERNS] William and Sarah Law
    2. That seems awfully early to me to expect birth certificates. You might be better served looking at death certs (don't know what OH did for this - don't have an interest here) or looking at obituaries, for those children. These might possibly mention both parents' names and or maternal families. Where did the parents come from, and did the family stay in OH? Is it possible the marriage took place in Guernsey Co or other OH county? Where do later censuses say the children were born - in what state or location? -----Original Message----- From: Nancy Alexander <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, 5 May 2005 13:39:10 -0500 Subject: [OHGUERNS] William and Sarah Law Or......... is there anyone who has access to these records who could help? 3. You are probably right in it being too early to expect birth certificates. Site says 1867, but one never knows.......... I have tried Greene County where William and Sarah died ( Zenia) but they have no record. My GGrandfather, John Law died in North College Hill - Cincinnati - but no record at Hamilton County Probate Court . Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :o) Children were all born in Ohio. William and Sarah from Washington County, PA. They are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery - Zenia. No maiden same for Sarah. Presbyterian church records, no maiden name. Greene County library - no record except for will. Greene county Archives - Greene County Probate Court, no record. Spring grove cemetery in Cincinnati - no Sarah's maiden name. I have several of the children's obits. No mention of Sarah's maiden name. Margaret was married in Guernsey County. Haven't tried that one! Thanks for your interest and help. I really appreciate it.
