I would welcome any information from the Cambridge paper of the day on the above named individual. Harry was a german immigrant born there March 17, 1868, and passing away in Cambridge on Oct. 2, 1937. Harry was married to Ella SLAYMON, and they had six children. He was employed for nearly 25 yrs. at the Cambridge works (tin mill) of the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corp. formerly the A. S. & T. P. Co. He was the 11th Exalted Ruler of the Cambridge lodge #448 B. P. O. Elks and a member of Guernsey Aerie #386 F. O. E. I' ve been trying for a long time to trace Harry back to his specific birthplace in Germany. He was my maternal grandfather.
