Scott, Well, 1800-1850 covers the timeline I was looking for. He is mentioned in one of Isaac Miskimen's Account books that covers 1841-1849, however I have come across his name in some deed books. I think those were in Wheeling Twp., but I didn't keep them as when I found the name I thought it was a different family - now I am not so sure. The Douglass family that I am primarily researching was in Liberty Twp., but families do spread out. And he could be an as-yet-undescovered cousin or other relative.
