Henry "Harry" Joseph Rogers apparently didn't know his exact birth date as evident in the many documents I have on him. The best information I have is that he was born on Aug 22 or 23 (1887-1890) in Soddy, Tennessee. Some Census Records incorrectly say Michigan since his siblings lived there. I know that he died between the years of 1947 to 1968, because his sister's obit in 1968 doesn't list him. His last known residence was Cambridge, Ohio. His children were Tillman, Russell, Nola Belle (Bender) and Paul Phillip Rogers (my wife's granddad). The online Ohio Death Index covers 1913-1937 (Ohio History) and 1958-2000 (Ancestry.com) leaving a big gap in between. I have searched the latter index and the SSDI (generally 1957 to present) with no luck. Therefore I am searching for his burial place for answers. If someone wants to visit the Senecaville Cemetery and find Elsie Rogers and whoever may be buried next to her, I would be grateful. I live in the West and have no t! ime until next year to attempt such a journey. I am still trying to obtain an obituary of Elsie Rogers d. Dec 1, 1944. Would the Cambridge Daily Journal staff be helpful or should I ask a Guernsey County librarian for help? Thanks Betty for all your help in searching Senecaville Cemetery for me. Tom N. There are 2 Harry Rogers listed in the social security death index both dying in the early 1960s. Could one of these be your Harry? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check Out the new free AIM(R) Mail -- 2 GB of storage and industry-leading spam and email virus protection.
