Cowden (1867 -1940), and his second wife, Luella Roe (1880 - 1971). They married in 1928 and didn't stay married long, though I don't know what year the divorce was in. My great grandfather was a physician in Kimbolton and then Cambridge, and he served as Guernsey County Health Commissioner. He was a widower and Luella Roe was a widow with a couple of daughters. Family members introduced them, thinking it would be a good match, but it didn't work out. The family was embarrassed about a divorce (rare in those days) so I don't know much else about it.
