For 1820, there are a couple of alternatives: 1820 Census data, Muskingum County, Ohio for Nathan West household Male, under 10: 1 Male, 18-26: 1 Female, under 10: 1 Female, 16-18: 1 OR 1820 Census data, Harrison County VA for Nathan West household Male, under 10: 2 Male, 10-16: 2 Male, 16-18: 1 Male, 18-26: 1 Male, 26-45: 1 (Nathan) Female, under 10: 2 Female, 18-26: 1 (Mary) This enumeration indicates that 4 members of the household are identified as "Foreigners not Naturalized". But, given the consistency of the data, I believe that the enumerator was counting those "Engaged in Agriculture". Given the composition of the household (number of people by age group), the Harrison County family seems the more likely. And, there is a marriage for Nathan West and Sarah Davisson, Harrison Co VA dated 04 Jan 1803. She could be Rebecca's mother (maybe). Given Rebecca's age in 1850 (and Sarah Godfrey's ditto) I would guess that Mary is not their mother, and might be Nathan's 2nd wife, or even his third. Suggest you ask the Guernsey Co Gen Soc for info on any/all West marriages and for cemetery look-up's ditto.
