Hello, Elizabeth, If there is any mention of the Shuman family in the articles I would be awfully glad to see it. The names would be John, Elizabeth, Clarissa, Jonathan, Moses, Ezekiel, Daniel, in Madison, Wills, Oxford, and Millwood Twps. (there is another unrelated Shuman family in Beaver), from about 1800 on. I believe it was you I was talking to earlier about the Campbells? I'm reading Ancestors by William Maxwell. He has a great deal to say about the history of the Christian Church (or Disciples of Christ, as they were, and are, also called). He says Alexander Campbell always lived in SW PA, Greene Co., I think. Hi Sharon. Yes that was me. I recently found out that my ancestor (Robert James Campbell) was definitely the nephew of Alexander Campbell, which means that his father was probably AC's younger brother Thomas. If you have seen anything about them in your book, I'd be much appreciated to hear it. Regardless, I will keep a look out for the Shumans as I read the articles. I have 2 small children at home so it is going to take me awhile to read all 28 articles but I promise to write back ASAP.
