"Lee" Walker, 82, of Zanesville, died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at Willow Haven Care Center in Zanesville, Ohio, following a short illness. She was born Sunday, Oct. 4, 1925, in Cambridge, Ohio the daughter of the late Wilford and Mildred Payton Lee. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was formerly an employee of Armco Steel. She also volunteered at Good Samaritan hospital. She is survived by five sons, Thomas (Joyce) Walker of Pennsylvania, Sherman Jr. (Betty) Walker of Dixon, Mo., Jeffrey (Jackie) Walker of Belpre, Ohio; Ricky (Deborah) Walker of Columbus, Ohio and Darrell (Carolyn) Walker of Zanesville; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Walker Sr., who passed away Oct.28, 1995; a son, Anthony Walker; and one sister, Janet Hazelwood. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 22, 2008 at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Union Baptist Church, Zanesville, Ohio with the Rev.
