Baker, 82, of Zanesville, Ohio died at 3:32 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, from Genesis Good Samaritan C.C.U. She was born May 15, 1926, in Cambridge, Ohio the daughter of the late Cory and Ethel Bell Stage. She retired as a secretary for St. James Episcopal Church. She was a foster grandmother for many years and was a member of Emmanuel Holiness Ministry. Surviving are two daughters, Judith (James) Harding of Zanesville, Ohio and Jacqueline Anderson of Logan, Ohio; two sons, William E. (Helen) Baker of Zanesville and Terry L. (Mary) Baker of New Concord, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Baker, who passed away in 1955; and a daughter, Connie S. Clipner, who passed away in 1987. Calling hours will begin at 11 a.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. The Rev. Jonas P. Hight will officiate. Burial will follow in Guernsey County Memory Gardens, 10171 East Pike Road, Cambridge.
