The obits are great to read, as they give real sense of the time. But, you have to wonder if the wording of this one aroused any comment. Perhaps the editor was on vacation when the phrase, "scurrilously honest", was applied to Mr Hare. ?You suppose he meant "scrupulously honest"....? Cheers, Elizabeth
