Vincent, 100 of Glenford, Ohio formerly of Zanesville, Ohio died at 3:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at Cedar Hill Care Center In Zanesville. She was born March 18, 1908, in Lore City, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Lynn Brown and Josephine Rose Stillion Lyons. Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was also a very good cook. During World War II she worked at the Army Air Force Depot in Zanesville, and later worked for many years at Watkins Flowers. She also worked in the kitchen at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Surviving is her son, Virgil F. Wartenbe of Glenford; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Ed Wartenbe, Ralph Bowman and Brad Vincent; and a daughter, Louella D. Waterman. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville, Ohio. A caring cremation will follow.
