I read all the email sent to Guernsey County in hopes that someone will inquire about the PORTER family. There were three generations that lived in Kimbolton for years. My great-great-grandfather was John Porter. He married Martha Gibson. Their son, my great-grandfather was Charles Porter who married Atsey Drake. My grandfather was Wesley Porter who married Levina Stevens. The older two generations are buried in the Liberty Cemetery in Kimbolton . I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge of descendants that I might contact. I also work on the Gibson, Drake and Stevens lines. Thank you so much for any help you can give me. Mackey Studio in Cambridge, Ohio. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Ella likely in her 20's at the time it was taken. I am hoping to locate someone from her family so that this beautiful old photograph can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member of this MCDOWELL Family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
