She was born Dec. 23, 1881, in Cumberland (Ohio), a daughter of Samuel and Margaret Braxton Lett. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ambrose Gee. Mrs. Gee spent most of her life in the Zanesville area. She was employed 21 years as a dental assistant in the office of Dr. Arthur Bell and Dr. Wiliam Dillon. She was a member of St. Paul A. M. E. Church here and was affiliated with Cambria A. M. E. church in Johnstown. Surviving are a niece and nephew, Dr and Mrs. B. K. Johnson of Johnstown with whom she made her home for the past 11 years; two step-daughters, Mrs. Iona G. Marvin of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs Mary Grey of Charleston, W. Va.; six step grandchildren; a foster son, Dr. William C. Willoughby of Washington D. C. and two cousins, Sherman Lett of McConnelsville Ohio and Ernest Lett of 634 Mathews street. A sister is deceased. Services were Wednesday in Johnstown. Burial was in Forest Lawn cemetery there.
