Thompson, widow of the late William Thompson, of Center township, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. K.A. Scott, on East Wheeling Ave, where she had been visiting for about one week, Monday morning, May 8, 1905, Mrs. Thompson has been suffering from lung trouble, but did not appear worse than usual. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy McConnell and was born in Center township 63 years ago. Her husband was killed last fall while his barn which was struck by lighting and destroyed by fire. The following children survive; Thomas N., a missionary in China; John G. a student of the University at Madison, Wis.; Bessie of the home; William, a student at Wooster; and Ralph, at home. Short funeral services will conducted at the home of E. A. Scott this morning at 8 o'clock, by Rev. Ken. C. Hayes and the remains will be taken to her home, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock by Rev. H. A. L. King, of the Presbyterian Church at Washington, of which the deceased was a member. Interment in the Washington Cemetery. Thursday 25 May 1905 Guernsey Times Cambridge Ohio.
