Funeral services conducted in the Birds Run Baptist Church by Rev. Thomas. Mrs. Willson had been a consistent member of the Baptist church ever since she was thirteen years old, having united with the Brisly Fork Baptist Church in Madison township. She was united in marriage in 1844, who preceded her to the better world eighteen years ago. To this union was born seven children. Those living are; Henry Willson of Birds Run; Thomas of Canal Dover; Edward of Cambridge; Martha and Mitchell of Adams Township; Rachel Goodie of Afton, Iowa. All were present at the funeral except Rachel Goodie. She was borne to the tomb by her six grandsons, caring their dear old grandmother to her last resting place in the clay. We are pleased to know that her old age was spent in quiet retirement; free form the cares and anxieties of life; that a useful career was crowned by a happy and contented end; at the extreme age which she attained her death could not have been unexpected. We did not realize how dearly we loved her. Darling mother, thou hast left us here, Thy loss we deeply feel But it's God that has bereft us: He can all our sorrows heal. Thursday 12 April 1906 Guernsey Times Cambridge Ohio. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
