Her full name was Anna Gracilla Voorhies b 3-24-1878. Married Joseph Albert Voorhes. Cousins married cousins. Father was Zera Albert Voorhies and her mother was Mary Hawkins per her death certificate. She died June 15th 1950. I can trace my Voorhies ancestors back to the original three in 1830. However , I cant find the connection for my Hawkins in the early census records. Betty Shinns early birth records for Guernsey County records Zera Albert and a May E Hawkins had a child on August 15, 1880. Any help would be appreciated or suggestions you may have would be welcomed. I know she is buried in Old Washington cemetery but no information is available on her tombstone and as I understand the records were destroyed by a fire. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
