Hello Listers of Goliad County, Texas and Other Lists who may have an interest in how some are trying to do something to protect a cemetery. I just read the local Goliad weekly newspaper.....known to all in that area as The Texan Express.... and I noticed the following item that will be interested to all genealogist: "Glendale Cemetery Meeting There will be a called meeting for anyone interested in the Glendale Cemetery Association on Monday, August 7. We will meet at Colonial Funeral Home at 8 a.m. There are some decisions that have to be made about the operation of the cemetery - and officers need to be elected. Please come." As you can see from this article, someone cares about this cemetery and are doing what should be done everywhere if at all possible. Please note that the web site I list below brought up 25 cemeteries in Goliad Co, Texas.....and four of them are in the town of Goliad.
