McDonald, born most likely in Guernsey County, Ohio in 1847/1848. Her father was James McDonald, born 1820/1821 in New Jersey. Her mother was Mary F. Grummon, born 1821/1822 in Ohio. James and Mary were married October 31, 1843 in Guernsey County, Ohio. Ann had two sisters, Margaret born about 1845/1846 and Mary born about 1849. Mary F. Grummon was the daughter of Isaac Grummond and Jemima Price. I believe that Ann E. McDonald is my GG-Grandmother. If so she married Joseph M. Welch in 1869 in Ozark County, Missouri. The marriage license reads Joseph M. Welch and Annie McDonald. I have found a Ann McDonald listed in the 1860 census for Washington County, Missouri. Her birth state is listed as Ohio. Her age is listed as 14. If this is the Ann McDonald I am looking for, she and Joseph had 3 boys. Amos S. Welch, John Welch and Eli William Welch. Eli is my G-Grandfather. Ann died two months after giving birth to Eli. Please help if you can!
