Connie, I have the following information. My husband's Mother had stated that he was a cousin of her Mother's, but I believe he is more a distant cousin. According to one source, he was born in Barnesville (some histories say Cambridge, Guernsey Co. ) Belmont Co, Ohio. He came to Tulsa, Oklahoma with his parents between 1900 and 1910 and his father and mother died between 1910 and 1920. I have a newspaper article from the Tulsa World Newspaper from back in the 1970's which gives a short bio on him and his life in Tulsa before going to California. My Husband's grandmother Charlotte Boyd was daughter of David and SArah Elizabeth (Warfield) Boyd who married in Belmont Co. David's father Was Daniel Boyd and mother Margaret Wineman Boyd. Daniel is my brick wall, but since he showed up in Belmont Co about the same time as John Boyd in early 1800's, I think they might have been brothers or cousins. ?? Wadene Bennett
