Is anyone familiar with the Fletcher General Hospital in Cambridge, Ohio? Its referred to as "a 2000 bed hospital for ill and wounded military patients evacuated from Europe" on page 300 of The Day the War Ended p. 330 by Martin Gilbert. I was astonished to see the way Cambridge was part of the war effort. Did the Fletcher Hospital become the Guernsey Memorial Hospital where I was born?
