He lived in Quaker City, Oh. in the 1890's that I know of as my grandfather Paul E. Hawkins was born in Quaker City on Feb. 21, 1894. My great grandfather was Oliver John Hawkins he was born on April 3, 1856. He had 5 children...Paul, Nina, Mamie, Frederick, and Delmer. For some reason I can find no information on Oliver John. I noticed in your note that a Lydick family owned the mill. I understand that Oliver did odds and ends work around town. But that is all I can find out.
