Jamie: I have an Elizabeth Hood, 3/16/1848-2/22/1897 (married Harry Acton), buried in Fairview Cemetery in Hendrysburg, and Talitha C. Hood, 1845-4/24/1926 (married Francis M. Acton), also buried in Fairview Cemetery. I cannot tell you if they were sisters or the gentlemen were brothers. My great grandmother was an Acton, and my mother transcribed their tombstones for my father's side of the family. I have established a connection to Francis, he is the uncle of my great grandmother.
