Where would I write for Naturalization records?? This information would most likely be at the Guernsey County Courthouse, in the records of the Court of Common Pleas. I've found two petitions for naturalization there at a similar time, in the "Court of Common Pleas Journal," Vol. A, APR 1810 - NOV 1817. If it's not there it might be in volume B. I dug up these records myself by climbing up into their attic, so I don't know if they will look themselves on your behalf. But you can write or call them to find out (someone else here may know how effective this is): Guernsey County Courthouse (Name of Dep't, if known; i.e. Probate Court, Vital Records, etc.) 801 East Wheeling Avenue Cambridge OH 43725 Phone (614) 432-9200 These records are also available from the Church of Latter Day Saints. It's on microfilm and can be viewed at any of their local history centers. If the local center doesn't already have it you have to pay for a copy to be sent (temporarily or permanently, depending on how much you pay). Hands-on review of these records is in my opinion more valuable as you can be sure you've found whatever information is there.
