She was born 18 Jan 1885 daughter of C.L. Burkhardt and Martha Ann ? in Peterscreek, IL and married first William Jefferson Davis and the couple had the following children: Irvin Ellis, Garcie Evert, Beulah Mae, Garvin Deaneen. The family story is that Elizabeth took off when my Grandfather was only 6 months old never to be seen or heard from again. If anyone out there has any information I would be greatful.
