In response to your query, I remember reading somewhere that Warnestown was where Thomas Warne, and later his son Jonathan and his grandson Dewitt Clinton, lived. It was 337 acres in section 3 of Center Township. This is out current highway US 22 to the northeast of Cambridge and is now either in or on the edge of the Salt Fork Lake.
