The Gilmer daughters that moved to Oklahoma always spelled the surname as Gilmer. Often the family name was spelled Gilmore in Ohio, but the cemetery records for their father, James, spells the name Gilmer. I hope to find more of the James & Sarah (Downerd) Gilmer family.
