Cambridge, OH . . March 2001 BYESVILLE — Russell “Russ” McClelland, 51, of Senecaville, died Saturday (March 3, 2001) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born June 13, 1949, in Fondulac, Wis., son of Gemaine (Durben) Schwoeror of Manitowac, Wis., and the late Joseph McClelland. Mr. McClelland was a sales representative for Phillip Morris USA, and was a member of Buffalo VFW Post 8040. He was a 1967 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed his cars, golfing, softball and the Cleveland Browns. He leaves his wife, Carolyn (Edwards) McClelland of Senecaville, whom he married Oct. 5, 1968; three sons, Derek R. (Amy) McClelland of Cambridge, Deron M. (Monica) McClelland of Columbus, and Dustin Alan McClelland of Senecaville; a daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Amy) Moore of Cumberland; a grandson, Garrett Russell Moore; three brothers, Rodney “Chip” (Kathy) McClelland and Joseph (Allison) McClelland, all of Cambridge, and Jody McClelland of Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Bill (Cheryl) Shivers of Byesville; three step-sisters, Connie Moore of Kipling, Patty Harbin of Senecaville, and Debbie Wamer of Byesville; his mother-in-law, Mabel Edwards of Byesville; his step-father, Ervin Schwoeror of Manitowac, Wis., and his step-mother, Joan McClelland of Senecaville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Black Family Funeral Service, Byesville, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday with Evangelist Dick Harris officiating. Military rites will be at the conclusion of the services. Burial will be at a later date.
