George was the son of Thomas Warne (born abt. 1744, NJ, died Dec. 17, 1811, OH) and ___ Jordan. Thomas and his second wife Ann Purcell came to Guernsey Co., OH abt. 1798-1800. John and Jemima had at least 11 children: James B., George, Sara Agnes, Jemima, John B., Eliza, Mary Catherine, Martha R., Thomas F., Virginia (Jennie) and William G.)
