Cambridge, OH . . Feb 2001 SUMMERFIELD Homer Rex Leach, 72, of Quaker City, died Monday (Feb. 12, 2001) at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell. He was born Jan. 17, 1929, near Quaker City, son of the late Arch and Hazel (Powell) Leach. Mr. Leach retired from W.J. Plumly Inc., Somerton, where he served as a mechanic. He was a Protestant by faith and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Wise) Leach, who died April 4, 1989; a brother, Gervis Leach; an infant daughter; and a grandson, Donnie Howiler. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Penny) Reed of Caldwell, Mrs. Rick (Betty Ann) Howiler of Temperanceville and Mrs. Bill (Patty) Masciarelli of Summerfield; two sons, Mike Leach of Old Washington and Jeff Leach of Temperanceville; two sisters, Barbara Floyd of Zanesville and Mrs. Jerry (Florence Carol) Davis of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Arch Neal (Ruth) Leach of Quaker City; an aunt, Beulah Goodin of Cambridge; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Brubach-Watters Funeral Home, Summerfield, where services will be 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Bill Pickenpaugh officiating.
