You can follow along with the Guernsey County maps at http://www.usgennet.org/usa/oh/county/guernsey/ and http://www.usgennet.org/usa/oh/county/guernsey/maps.html This land is located in Madison Twp., a mile or so southeast of Winterset (originally called Winchester, at U.S. 22 and Ohio 285) and two miles southwest of Antrim. Section 18 is one mile square and roughly centered around the intersection of Burson Rd. and Fairground Rd. The northeast one quarter would have Fairground Rd. passing right through it. There are a number of cemeteries in Madison Twp. or in adjacent Wills Twp. to the south, but none are close by.
