Daugherty, aged 76, died at his home at Brady at 7:30 o'clock Sunday after an illness of ten months. He was born in Jefferson township, Guernsey County, the son of John and Roseanna Hines Dougherty and had resided near Brady all of his life. In addition to his widow, he is survived by the following children: Frank E., Winterset; Mrs. Cora Cline, Cambridge; James A., Akron; Mrs. Mary Linn, Lore City R.D.; Fred R., Winslow, Ariz.; Mrs. Julia Leeper, San Francisco; John M., Fresno, Cal.; Russell W. of the home; Mrs. Louella Caskey and Mrs. Fay Allison, Detroit, Mich. One daughter is deceased. Mr. Daugherty was a life-long member of Allen's M.E. Church. Funeral Services will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Mike Danford of Woodsfield. Burial will be in Northwood cemetery.
