I made an error in stating Maj. William and Nancy came to Ohio in 1806 - it was actually 1804. I have always heard Nancy was from "near Philadelphia" (William's family had settled "near Lewistown PA." when they came from Ireland) Do you have any confirmation on this "near Philadelphia"? Do you have any of William and Nancy's childrens names? My ancestor is their fifth child - WIlliam. I have been corresponding with a Debbie Weisenberger from Indiana who has a William Henderson born 9/25/1831 - whom we believe is a son of John Henderson born 1810. We think "my William" and "her John" are brothers. (two of William and Nancy's children.) Any information is much appreciated.
