Cambridge, OH . . May 2001 Robert E. Doc Durben, 56, of Kimbolton, died Thursday (May 10, 2001) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born May 29, 1944, in Cambridge, son of Velma A. (Bell) Durben, and the late Willis Roger Durben. Mr. Durben had been a coal miner and a truck driver. He was a Methodist by faith. He was a member of Eagles and Moose Lodge 631 of Cambridge. He was preceded in death by a sister. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Alberta M.) Craft of Cocoa, Fla.; a son, Christopher R. (Susan) Durben of Kimbolton; a sister, Donna Cartner of Cambridge; four brothers, Roger (Nina) Durben, Emmet Durben, Gilbert (Agnes) Durben, all of Kimbolton, and David Durben of Zanesville; grandchildren, Jimmy (Mary Kay) Edwards, Amanda Edwards, Chad (Amanda) Edwards, Ryan and Brandy Craft, Brittany Durben; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be 11 a.m. Monday. At the funeral home Sunday, Eagles will have services at 7 p.m.nd Moose Lodge 631 will have services at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in North Salem Community Cemetery.
