Hi Gwen, I would love to hear more about your John S. REED. Perhaps he is the brother of my 4-great grandmother whose name was Rachel REED. She married Jesse WILSON. I am descended from their daughter Elizabeth WILSON, who was born in Guernsey Co., OH, February 27, 1819. >From a biographical sketch on Elizabeth WILSON's husband, Lewis EDWARDS, it states that Jesse WILSON and Rachel REED were of Irish and Welsh descent, but this almost all I have on Jesse and Rachel, other than it appears they lived in Washington Twp., Guernsey Co.
