My Joseph Emley b. 10-20-1827 in Ohio was the son of Joseph Emley and Mary Dilliha. Joseph Jr. married Rosanna Gusman and had 10 kids and was living in Hocking Twp., Fairfield Co., Ohio in 1900. Joseph Jr's death certificate( 2-23-1915) says that his parents, Joseph and Mary Dilliha Emley were born in MD. The 1900 census says that all 3 were born in Ohio. Guess it depends on who you interview. Anyways, looking for people of that name and variations that came from Maryland or Ohio. Even some small clue may help. Thanks
