BRANINGER TO BE BURIED SUNDAY, AUG. 2 Highly Respected Resident of Birmingham Dies at Age of 82 Birmingham, O., August 1 (Special) Mrs. Jane Price Braninger, nee Snider, of Birmingham, who departed this life Wednesday evening, July 29 at the advanced age of 82 years, three months and 16 days, was born in Freeport, O., April 12, 1826, which place her early youth was spent. With her parents she moved to Birmingham at the age of 15. She was united in marriage April 18, 1847, to Francis Braninger and to this union were born nine children, two of whom with her husband await her at the Pearly Gates. Those who remain to mourn their irreparable loss are: Mrs. Mary A. Severn, Jacob F. Braninger, Alice M. Braninger of Birmingham, W.A. Braninger of Waterloo, Ia., R.S. Braninger of Marysville, Mo., C.F. Braninger of Prague, Okla., Mrs. Emma Hogue of Caldwell. Mrs. Braninger's mother being a Quaker, her early life was identified with that people. Soon after her marriage, however, she with her husband united with the M.E. church of Birmingham of which church she remained a faithful member until the Father called her home. Her religion was not so much in words, it shone brightly in her daily life and character. During the 67 years which Mrs. Braninger spent in our midst her thoughtful kindness and loving ministrations have so endeared her to the hearts of all who knew her that her death is felt as a universal sorrow. Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 9 o'clock at the Clear Fork Baptist church conducted by Rev. Stewart, assistaed by Rev. Cunningham. (Guernsey County)
