Cambridge, OH . Jan 2001 NEWCOMERSTOWN — Richard “Rick” Daugherty Jr., 49, of Newcomerstown, died Friday (Jan. 12, 2001) at his residence. He was born June 19, 1951, in Cambridge, son of Richard and Bonnie Watson Daugherty of Newcomerstown. He was a laborer for Local Union 134 and a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Stone Creek. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed collecting coins. He was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Daugherty. He leaves a son, Rick (Jeannie) Daugherty of Belle, Mo.; three brothers, Ron Daugherty, Bill Daugherty and Dave (Christina) Daugherty, all of Newcomerstown; three grandchildren; and a special friend, Lois Daugherty of Newcomerstown. Friends and family may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Addy Funeral Home, where services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William C. Haggis II officiating.
