Her marriage was in 1866 and Susannah was born in 1855. That's the part that won't add up. The 1860 Census with two children and only their father, the three Guernsey Co. marriages, all seem to be cohesive. Too bad the obit appears to have nothing about his parents or their origins. How about the county where Thomas Bragg was born. Guernsey doesn't seem too probable. Regards, Wanda Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Davis (extracted from probate court records) and the 1880 Census shows the family with three children. http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp In 1870 and 1860 Census listings in Cambridge township, Susannah Bragg is found with her father, Thomas H. Bragg. http://www.ancestry.com/search LDS again shows three marriages for Thomas H. Bragg in Guernsey Co. [1853, 1858 and 1866]. The first wife, Margaret Buzzard, would have been Susannah's mother. This is very helpful. Would be great to exchange info with you. I am related (I hate to admit) on the King side of this family. Andrew Jackson King's parents were John Wells King and Martha "Mahala" Hartshorn (I am related on both sides). Interesting story there--the oldest son was raised by his uncle Andrew Farley and he tood the Farley name. He was born before Martha and John Wells King married. Andrew Jackson King died in Bow Creek, Phillips Co, KS on 19 June 1939 (in case you do not have that info for your records). Thank you for the info and I would love to see the picture if you can send it. Helen Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
