    3. My gg-grandmother was Martha (HUFFMAN) BARNHOUSE, died 1853. My father remembers visiting cousins Dannie CARRELL, died 1960, and Mary CARRELL, died 1959, who had a farm in Guernsey County and I have determined that their mother was Mary (HUFFMAN) CARRELL. I have not been able to make the connection between Martha and Mary who I assume are sisters. And cannot find any information on Martha's parents. Any help that anyone can provide to help me would be greatly appreciated. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. He married Mary Ann Neel, daughter of William Neel and Mary Ann Sheridan on October 9, 1828 in unknown place by Reverend Benjamin Wood. They had 7 children: George Hannah, Willian N., Abner, Alexander, Sarah, Mary, and Temperance (I only have these names from hearsay--no proof yet, so they may be incorrect). George was born by all accounts in Madison Township, Guernsey County, Ohio on June 30, 1830, so I believe this would be the best place to begin to try to find John. OH Queries Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Oh/Guernsey/1174 Surname: BEVARD, MARSH, BOLLER, BORTON ------------------------- I thought I had better update this message line since I have changed addresses. I am decended from William BEVARD (1756-1854) m. Mary Elizabeth LOOKINGBILL (176-1856). Had 14 children. I am decended from their son, Johathan (1803-1881). m. Charity MARSH (1814-1877) in 1833 in Guernsey Co., OH. She is the daughter of Jessie MARSH & Rachel BORTON. All together they had 11 kids. Some of the things I don't have is the decendancy on all of the kids. I also would like a good picture of the grave of William and Mary. They are buried at Stout Cemetery east of Cambridge about 7 miles and south off the interstate about 3 miles. I visited there last year in July and the cemetery was a mess with very few stones left upright, the graveyard overgrown with weeds and brush and full of ground hog dens. Everything points that this is the rest place of William and Mary, but I could not find the stone with out a weed wacker, machete, jack hammer, etc. Any help on this? Larry

Elizabeth was born ca. 1775, died ca. 1855. They emigrated ca. 1788. Francis was "a dealer in horses buying them & driving them across the mountains for sale." I've tentatively located them in: - Yellow Creek, now Jefferson Co., OH - Holliday's Cove, near Weirton, Hancock Co., WV - West Middletown, Hopewell Twp., Washington Co., PA (bought land there in 1816) - Brooke Co., VA (1820 census) - Adams Twp., Guernsey Co., OH (1830 census) - Jefferson Co., OH (they sold above land 1835) - Cambridge Twp., Guernsey Co., OH (1840 census).
