    1. YOUNG, WALTER, STEVENS, CAMP of Westland township
    2. I have not been on this list for many years, but I am still researching various YOUNG families of Guernsey County, though my own ancestor is John Young of Westland township. He was born in Pa ca 1794 and had previously lived in Belmont Co., Oh. where I believe he first married Mary WALTER (perhaps daughter of Adam Walter) in 1816. After her apparent death, John married in 1827 in Goshen township, Belmont Co., to Sarah STEVENS. She was the daughter of Aaron and Margaret Stevens formerly of Frederick and Montgomery Co., Md. Though Aaron died in Maryland, Margaret accompanied many children to Ohio who first settled in Belmont Co and then migrated to Westland/Spencer townships in Guernsey Co., Oh. Margaret's children claimed Robert CAMP as their Uncle. He migrated from Loudoun Co., Va., though he was apparently from Maryland, and also settled in Goshen twp., Belmont Co., and then moved to Westland twp, Guernsey Co., where he died leaving a widow Anna. The above John Young had a brother David Young who lived in Morgan Co., Oh. Both brothers migrated about 1850 to Carroll Co., Missouri. In my 40 year quest to learn more about my Youngs I have accumulated many records on Youngs of Belmont, Guernsey, and Morgan counties and would be glad to share. Thanks, Gary E Young Centreville, Md
